HOW FAR ALONG?: 34 weeks 3 days
TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN?: Not sure, I have an appt on Monday so ill know for sure then, but Im thinking probably a good 25-26 lbs? wahhhhh!!!!
STRETCH MARKS?: NOPE!!
SLEEP?: Not happening. Between my wisdom tooth pain, and my constant back pain, im lucky if I get a good 3 hours of sleep a night. Good preparation for when baby Lexi is here, right?
MATERNITY CLOTHES?: Shopping sucks. Im done shopping for this oompa-loompa body!
BEST MOMENT THIS WEEK?: SUNDAY WAS MY BABY SHOWER!!!!! My amazing family and friends threw me the most wonderful surprise shower ever! It was so nice to have everyone together, and Rony and I received SO MANY things for baby Lexi, in fact there is very little that we will need to get ourselves. We are so grateful for all the love and support from our family, and cant wait till our little girl is here to share with everyone!
ALSO, we finally painted the nursery. It was this horrible tacky blue color, so I was SO happy to see the color go! Thanks to Neosha and Carina for helping me paint! The new floors have been purchased and will be installed next week, so im hoping we can FINALLY get the room together by next week, cuz im not sure how much longer this little one is gonna stay put!
WORST MOMENT THIS WEEK?: Wednesday afternoon I had my first ER visit :( I started feeling kinda of "off" the night before, with alot of back pain on one side. I figured it was just regular back pain, so I went on with my normal day the following morning. By early afternoon, the pain was much worse, and after trying my regular heating pad/hot bath routine that usually helps fopr my back, and it not helping AT ALL, I decided to call Rony and tell him what was up. I told him to stay at work, that it was probably nothing, but JUST IN CASE, i wanted get it checked out. Turns out, I have an infection in my kidneys, and that was causing (and still is) the pain in my back. After being there for hours (almost 6 hours, to be exact) and antibiotics through IV, I was sent home on bedrest and 7 days of medication. Thankfully im feeling a little better now, and hopefully the meds work!
MISS ANYTHING?: Coffee. I don't think this answer is ever going to change. I also miss being able to breath, and being able to fit into my clothes.
MOVEMENT? Always. Rony got her on camera last night jumping around my belly every time he would say her name, it was really funny. She is a very active little girl!
FOOD CRAVINGS?: ICE!!!! I cant even explain this obsession, but im having to lay off due to my lovely wisdom tooth pain. Boo!!!!
ANYTHING MAKING ME QUEASY / SICK?: NOPE, Thank goodness!
SHOWING YET?: oh yes.
LABOR SIGNS?: Apparently some irregular contractions, which could or could not be caused by the infection... not sure. So the DR has me taking it easy JUST IN CASE she decides to come early.
MOOD?: Ready to be done. Just plain ready. I want to meet my baby girl, and feel like a normal human being again.
COMPLAINTS?: GET THIS CHILD OUT OF ME! Ok, maybe not yet, but seriously...I would like my lungs back please.
BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT?: OUTTTTT!!!!!
WEDDING RINGS OFF or ON?: ON!
LOOKING FORWARD TO...?: Meeting our baby girl, the nursery being done!!!
Hi Ileana~
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you've planned the delivery. Are you going to do it at home? Water birth?
Will you share the experience?
The day is getting closer! YAY
<3
Hi! I havent really "planned" the delivery, but I do know that it wont be at home. As much as I dislike hospitals, I am too much of a worrier to have an at home birth. I originally wanted to have the baby at a birthing center, but my insurance wouldnt cover it :( So a regular hospital birth it had to be. As far as the actual delivery, I am not opposed to getting an epidural, however I want to labor at home as much as possible before going in to the hospital, and if at that point I feel as though I can handle doing it natural, I would like to go that route. I had a failed epidural with my daughter, so I know I am capable of doing it! But again, we'll see!
